Grasshopper

Grasshopper by Sam's Photography Diary
Grasshopper, a photo by Sam’s Photography Diary on Flickr.

Taken on 19th June near Venus Drive in Singapore.

I was actually walking around when I decided to take a photo of the grasshopper.

The photo I took initially shows the whole body of the grasshopper with the eyes in focus but I decided to retake this shot as the composition in the previous is pretty much common.

Therefore I got into position again, this time to keep the eyes in focus but a change of angle from its side to a full frontal shot. From my point of view, I actually like this shot as compared to the previous.

This was my last photo in my camera for the outing today, it was resting on a wooden railing when I snap this photo.

Rope of steel

I’ve just gotten another lense, Tamron Di 90mm Macro. Its a very nice length as I was able to shoot macro as well as portraits with it due to the focal length, which will result is a very nice bokeh.
